Upcoming AMI Orientation Courses include

0-3 Years

Overview:
During this pivotal phase, children's core personality traits, social abilities, and moral values begin to take shape. The Montessori approach caters to the holistic needs of infants, nurturing independence, instilling a sense of belonging, and facilitating movement and language development to empower children.

Course Details:

  • Duration: Online, part-time format spanning 7 weeks

  • Scheduled Sessions:

    • Live online sessions on Thursdays (9th & 16th May) from 6 pm to 9 pm

    • Live online sessions on Saturdays (11th & 18th May, 8th, 15th & 22nd June) from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm (UK time)

  • Dates: Thursday, 9th May to Saturday, 22nd June 2024

  • Study Commitment: Additional 4-6 hours of directed study per week

Overview:
Children in this age range engage in learning through hands-on experiences that promote independence. They interact with objects to enhance their sensory perception, explore freely to improve their motor skills, concentration, social abilities, and cognitive development.

Course Details:

  • Duration: Online, part-time format spanning 6 weeks

  • Scheduled Sessions:

    • Live online sessions on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays each week
      from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm (UK time)

  • Dates: Monday, 15th April to Thursday, 23rd May 2024

  • Study Commitment: An additional 4-6 hours of directed study per week

Admission Criteria

  • Minimum age requirement of 18 with basic educational qualifications.

  • Proficiency in English language reading and writing.

  • Applicants may undergo an interview process.

  • Eligibility for the Welsh Government Learning Grant.

  • International Students: Students from across the globe are welcomed, with equal fees for all. Our online courses are accessible worldwide via Zoom sessions.

Qualification Requirements

  • Maintain a 90% attendance record.

  • Complete 9 hours of child observation and three 500-word essays.
